Next weekend, September 7-8, we will begin our Annual Diocesan Appeal, which is an opportunity to help the Catholic Diocese of Peoria raise necessary funds for many ministries and apostolates that we as a single parish cannot offer. This week, parishioners throughout the Diocese will receive a mailing asking for a pledge to support the Appeal. The mailing will include a pledge card and a return envelope addressed directly to the Diocese. You can make a one time gift or make a pledge over eight month. We will also have pledge cards available in the pews next weekend. Thank you for your continuing support of our parish, diocese, and the work of the Church throughout the world.

CCD

CCD is on Wednesdays 4:20 pm-5:20 pm in the parish center.

Director of Religious Education is Mrs. Debbie Woodyer.

CCD classes begin Wednesday, September 11th.

Charity on Wheels

"St Nicholas Charity on Wheels" van stops in the parking lot of St. Joseph in Marseilles on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 10am.

The van distributes items that are not traditionally distributed by the Food Pantry but are often needed: blankets, towels, school supplies, socks, gloves, baby clothes, diapers, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc. There's actually a Wish List on Amazon for them (St. Nicholas Charity on Wheels-Amazon Wish List).

In addition to the Amazon Wish List, items can be dropped off during the distribution or at our office (Monday-Thursday, 9am to 2pm).
